ALIVE
Prevention programs for middle and high school students focused on healthy relationships. This program walks teens through scenarios and situations to help them determine what is a healthy relationship and what is an un-healthy relationship.
Buddies not Bullies ~ Portals
Prevention programs for KG – 8th Grades include bullying prevention, internet safety and social skills development. Buddies Not Bullies approach is a little different from other agencies as it brings a holistic, school-wide approach that they call “All In” - meeting with the students throughout the school year, consulting with and training faculty and staff, and providing multiple learning opportunities for parents.
CHADS
The Signs of Suicide (SOS) program empowers students and staff with the tools and resources to effectively recognize and respond to the warning signs of suicide. SOS is a self-contained module designed to be incorporated into health class. SOS includes parent, student and teacher education plans, videos, depression screening materials, and printed education materials.
Children's Advocacy Center
Programs for elementary, middle and high school students that focus on sexual abuse prevention. Also training for mandated-reporters including sexual abuse dynamics, how children disclose abuse, and what do when a child discloses.
Compass Health Network, Inc
Violence Prevention, including bullying prevention, is offered in grades 1 – 5, Changes and Choices in 6th grade, Cyber Bullying in 7th grade and Healthy Relationships in 8th grade. All programs build upon one another or can stand alone.
PreventEd
Evidence-informed and research-based substance use prevention programs for grades K-12.
Each lesson series focuses on skill development through a variety of topics: protecting our brains; healthy decision-making; problem solving; and peer refusal.
Preferred Family Healthcare
As a component of the Team of Concern program, Preferred Family Healthcare provides global education of all students to the dangers of using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. This is done through lunch room booths, school events, etc. Preferred Family Healthcare also provides classroom presentations tailored to the needs of the particular school.
