Services for Specific High Risk Youth
The services listed below are for children and youth in specific situations. In order to access these services, a child must fit a specific criteria. The referral process is closed to the general public.
Children's Advocacy Center*
The Children's Advocacy Center will have a Family Advocate who works with children who have alleged sexual and/or physical abuse and the non-offending care-givers throughout the legal process. The Family Advocate will follow the case from the forensic interview through the conclusion of the legal proceedings, as well as helping coordinate the care for the child. The mission is to provide a community based collaborative effort to improve the system’s response to allegations of child abuse and neglect by following the child first doctrine. The CAC utilizes a child-friendly facility and highly trained staff who coordinate with the members of the multi-disciplinary teams that are responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse/neglect.
