ALIVE
Counseling and parenting skills for children and families affected by high conflict in the home, working both individually with children and their parents and with groups of parents learning the necessary skills to help their children navigate today's world. Children's Advocacy Center Services to children who have alleged sexual or physical abuse, working with non- offending parents and the child to provide supportive services during the time of immediate crisis, criminal investigation and throughout the prosecutorial process. Referrals must be made through partner organizations. Compass Health Network, inc. Care coordination services for youth with serious emotional disorders and their families in partnership with Family Advocacy and Community Training whose Parent Partner work to help the family navigate the systems that serve them. Franklin County CASA Providing a voice for youth who are in the foster care system and working with a team to help the child find permanency. Grace's Place Crisis Nursery Providing respite and crisis care services to youth up to the age of 12 in order to avoid abuse and neglect situations and to offer a safe place for children in times of crisis. Court appointed supervised visitation to allow for interaction of youth in alternative placement through Children's Division and their parents with the hopes of speeding along permanency for the child. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri The Legal Help to Stabilize Children project offers families needing to obtain legal guardianship in non-contested situations that guardianship. The program will primarily work with relative caregivers, such as Grandparents, living in Franklin County to advise about and obtain guardianship of minor children in their care. |
Lutheran Children and Families Services
Assessment, individual and family therapy, crisis intervention and case management services for children, youth and families in need. Nurturing Kids Program provides parenting support, education and case management for young children and their families. Support and education services to pregnant and teenage parents including case management, group sessions, and direct assistance. NAMI – St. Louis Providing training to law enforcement to help them better work with youth and children experiencing a mental health crisis. Preferred Family Healthcare Achieving Resiliency, Responsibility and Recovery Through Creativity (A.R.T.C.) for high risk youth in Franklin County. ARTC is a program that works with the creativity of youth to help them work through their emotional, behavioral, or substance use illness and develop self confidence. Drug Testing Program for parents of children who are currently in or at risk of being placed in foster care to help in reunification/permanency efforts while ensuring that children have a safe home environment The Juvenile Alternatives Program gives an opportunity for the Juvenile Office to attempt treatment with a youth in lieu of putting them into detention or DYS custody. The Farm, a facility of Preferred Family Healthcare, will be the first choice location for youth, but if a youth are not appropriate, the coordinator will work to secure an appropriate facility. Tele-psychiatric services including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management. Saint Louis Counseling Psychiatric services including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management. Counseling and therapy services to youth of Franklin County including individual, group, and family counseling. Parenting classes also available. Partners in Kind Partners in Kind provides comprehensive psychological evaluations to the high need youth in Franklin County where there is a confusion on the proper diagnosis and a need for guidance on treatment options. |
